BEEF ROAST

Grandma Bernie


3-5 lb chuck, rump etc. roast
2 tbsp steak sauce (can skip)
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 can condensed cream mushroom soup


Place roast in piece of extra wide foil in roasting pan. Brush with steak sauce, sprinkle onion soup then spread mushroom soup over roast.

Wrap foil loosely. Bake 350 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

Broth makes delicious gravy at end of cooking time - add desired amount of water to make amount of gravy you want. I usually put mine in the right sized dutch oven.
