Makes 3 dozen
2 egg whites
1 cup chopped nuts
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup bits of Brickle (like inside heath bars)
Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar until it forms
stiff peaks. Fold in nuts and brickle bits. Drop by teaspoonfuls
on brown papered cookie sheet. (I just put on lighlty greased cookie
sheet)
Preheat
oven to 350 degrees. Put cookies in oven. Turn off immediatley and
DO NOT OPEN oven for at least 5 hours or overnight.
I used
to make these with one 6 oz pkg of chocolate or caramel bits and
1 cup nuts instead of bits of brickle. Both like candy, but brickle
more so.
